Infographic: 5 Keys to Planning a Wedding in France

When I wrote my series of articles on my wedding in France, I figured my experiences might help a few people, sure. Yet I mostly imagined that my recounting would give friends and family a fun record of the events—all of which went by so quickly, just as everyone said they would.

However, I think family and friends popped in once or twice to read the stories and look at the pictures for memory’s sake—after which the articles took on entirely new life as resources for people all over the world who would like to get married in France (including, from what I can see in my analytics, people actually living in France).

Did you land on this page in the midst of your wedding planning (and are considering somewhere in France as your location)? First: Congratulations. As I know from experience, you’re about to embark on quite an adventure.

I wished for more resources when I started planning our French marriage and wedding ceremony. In hopes of helping people who feel my former confusion, I’ve created a quick-reference infographic to help them get started.
